Probably the best cover of the Doobie Brothers “What a Fool Believes.” If it sounds different, it is because Self performs the song only using kids toys. Yes, the same ones you would buy at Target.
I am not the biggest Henry Mancini fan, but The Cop Show Themes album is amazing. Just look at the album cover. This is the theme song from the show Police Woman, which ran before I was born (1974-78). A number of hip hop artists sampled from this. Listen to the break beats. I tip my hat to those that went crate digging and found this gem.

On occasion, you should listen to music that makes you stop and say “what the hell is this?” Well…here is your chance. Almost any cover song done with a Moog Synthesizer will usually do the trick, but nothing can beat a song that is totally wrong for the Moog, like James Brown’s “Give it Up or Turn it Loose.”
